Hi, I’m designing a website, a website that has to do with business, buying and selling ad offering services for example.
so i want people to actually *TRUST* the website while doing business and while paying money using ‘credit card’ or ‘paypal’ or other kinds of payment.
what kind of security should i get for that website?? I checked Verisign but didn’t know which one is the ideal one for my purpose. which one should i get?? can you recommend some??

I own a bricks and mortar store and would like to set up an e-commerce site. The amount of products for me to choose from is overwhelming. Also, there is a lot of research to be done: hosting companies, merchant accounts, POS (we may need to change this software), SSL certificates, shopping carts, PCI compliance companies, and possibly other components. It seems if I choose the wrong products, and wish to change later, some components may not be compatible when I want to switch. Has anyone else gone through this process and what are your suggestions. The business is small but growing. We want to choose products that will ease into new growth and eventually accommodate a large company.
